Job Description Summary

We areseekinga highly motivated intern to join our Inside Sales Team and gain hands-on experience in pipeline management construction project research and customer engagement. This early talent career program will provide exposure to lead generation opportunity management sales strategy and fact-finding research for key projects helping to create value for our Field Sales Teams. The intern will also gaina strong foundationin sales pipeline management learning how opportunities progress from lead to close.

What Youll Do:

  • Support the Inside Sales Team byassistingwith opportunity management lead qualificationaccountmanagementand pipeline tracking.
  • Learn how to analyze and manage a regional pipelineidentifyingbottlenecksand trends to improve forecasting.
  • Conduct fact-finding research on key projects gathering valuable insights to support strategic sales initiatives.
  • Learn to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools including Salesforce to track sales opportunities and pipeline progression.
  • Work closely with the Inside & Field Sales Team toprovideresearch-driven insights that help drive customer engagement and pipeline growth.
  • Assistin developing sales presentations project overviews and research summaries for internal and external use.
  • Participate in customer outreach initiatives to gather insights and improve leadqualification.
  • Attend weekly team and department meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of sales strategy pipeline health and forecasting.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world sales and business development scenarios.
  • Performadditionaltasks as needed to support the Inside Sales function.

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data andidentifykey insights.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills consultivesellingwith a customer-first mindset.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • Interestin developing skills in opportunity management pipeline tracking customer insights and sales research.

  • Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer.

Education Certification/License & Work Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field at an accredited university.

  • Graduate students or undergraduate students who have completed at least one full year of courseworkpreferred.

  • Previouscoursework or experience in sales market research or business analytics is a plus.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation

  • Base: $21.00 - $25.00 hourly based on specific compensable factors including but not limited to education work experience and geographic market.
