The Teaching Assistant (TA) supports learners during program delivery by reinforcing instruction providing academic support and helping remove learning barriers. This role is essential to learner engagement persistence and successful program completion.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate office hours and lab support sessions
Provide 1:1 and small-group academic support during and outside of instruction
Assist with completion checks and learner progress tracking
Flag recurring learner challenges to instructors and program staff
Maintain learner support logs and related documentation
Requirements
- Associate degree relevant certification or equivalent experience required
- Bachelors degree or progress toward one preferred (education technology or related field)
- Experience supporting learners tutoring mentoring or assisting in training environments
- Strong communication skills and patience working with adult learners
- Interest in education workforce development or technology training
