Job Title: Junior SQL Server DBA

Location: London/hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity with an established organisation for a Junior SQL Server DBA. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to grow and develop their skills further.

For this role you should have advanced skills utilising & manipulating SQL server. You should also have some experience using the Azure platform/ with various other ETL tools.

Responsibilities

Database Management - Managing and maintaining databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
Database security - Monitoring and maintaining the security and access of databases.
Database backup and restores - Checking backups are working correctly and performing ad hoc back up and restores.
Database deployments including running scripts.

What they are looking for from you

Strong knowledge of database systems Microsoft SQL and ETL tools.
Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions preferably Azure.
Knowledge of maintaining online reporting tools. Power BI.
PowerShell skills to manage and create task automation.
Excellent Transact SQL.
