Job Title: Project Director - Commercial and Mixed-Use Greenfield Projects

Location: Mumbai India

Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished and seasoned Project Director with over 30 years of experience in overseeing commercial and mixed-use greenfield projects. This role demands a strategic leader who can leverage their extensive expertise and relationships to deliver high-profile projects that align with our firms and our clients exacting standards of quality sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the successful execution of large complex commercial and mixed-use greenfield projects.

  • Drive the development and implementation of project frameworks and protocols that align with company objectives and industrys best practices.

• Client Partnership:

  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with senior-level clients and key stakeholders.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor ensuring client satisfaction and project alignment with their strategic goals.

• Mentorship and Team Development:

  • Lead mentor and develop high-performing project teams fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence.

  • Share insights and establish training initiatives to elevate the teams competencies and overall project delivery capability.

• Financial Stewardship:

  • Oversee comprehensive financial management including budgeting forecasting and reporting to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Utilize advanced financial acumen to balance strategic growth with operational efficiency.

• Quality and Compliance Enforcement:

  • Uphold rigorous standards of quality sustainability and compliance integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to advance project outcomes.

  • Champion best practices in safety risk management and environmental stewardship.

• Complex Problem Solving:

  • Leverage deep industry insights to anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions that minimize risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Engage cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues collaboratively and efficiently.

• Thought Leadership:

  • Position JLL as a leader in commercial and mixed-use developments through public speaking publishing and participation in industry forums.

  • Advocate for sustainable development and innovative solutions within the real estate sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related field; a Masters degree or MBA is highly desirable.

• Over 30 years of progressive experience in project management specifically in commercial and mixed-use greenfield projects.

• Proven history of delivering large-scale high-value projects within time scope and budget.

• Deep understanding of the Mumbai real estate landscape including regulatory economic and industry trends.

• Strong leadership presence with exceptional negotiation communication and relationship-building skills.

• Proficiency in advanced project management software and analytical tools.
