The Senior Associate will play a key role in supporting SS&C GIDSs financial operations team contributing to the accurate and timely processing and reporting of financial data. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial principles and excellent analytical skills.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Execute and review daily financial transactions including reconciliations settlements and trade processing.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports statements and other deliverables for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve complex financial discrepancies and inquiries from internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with various departments including operations technology and client services to optimize workflows and resolve issues.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing service delivery.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry regulations best practices and company policies.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or a related field OR 3-5 years of experience in financial services with a focus on operations accounting or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments investment operations and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables VLOOKUPs advanced formulas).
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

The expected base salary for the position in MA is between $50000 USD to $100000 USD.

The expected base salary for the position in IL is between $50000 USD to $100000 USD.

In addition to their salary successful candidates may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus and stock options.
