What HR Business Partner contributes to Cardinal Health

Human Resources designs implements and delivers human resource programs and policies including recruitment talent management diversity and inclusion compensation and benefits among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.

HR Business Partners serve as strategic partners to business leaders to develop and implement strategies for human capital management customer satisfaction and business performance. This family job supports assigned business units in addressing complex and technical Human Resources challenges advocates for the business value of HR initiatives and enables short-term and long-term business change.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience preferred

• Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred

• Minimum of 2 years experience in employee relations or as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) in a Customer Service setting.

Internal Qualifications:

• Open to P2/P3/M1

• Minimum 1 year in current role

• Minimum of 3.0 / Meets rating in last Performance Review

Responsibilities

• Employee Discipline and Performance Concerns

  Provide guidance to managers on handling performance issues and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.

• Conduct Workplace Investigations

  Lead thorough impartial investigations into employee complaints misconduct allegations and policy violations.

• Review and Maintain HR Policies and Procedures

  Regularly assess and update local HR policies to ensure alignment with legal requirements and organizational objectives.

• Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects

• Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

• May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
