Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Remote HR Generalist to manage and support human resources functions for a distributed workforce. This role will oversee recruitment employee relations HR compliance and HR operations while ensuring a positive and productive remote work environment. The ideal candidate has experience supporting U.S.-based teams and understands federal and state employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for remote positions.
Post job openings on job boards and social platforms.
Screen candidates coordinate interviews and support hiring managers.
Facilitate remote onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Employee Relations
Serve as the primary HR contact for remote employees.
Address employee questions concerns and HR-related issues.
Promote employee engagement and remote team culture.
HR Compliance
Ensure compliance with U.S. federal state and local labor laws.
Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Assist in updating HR policies and procedures.
HR Operations
Manage HRIS systems and employee data.
Generate HR reports and workforce analytics.
Support performance management and employee development programs.
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
Coordinate with payroll providers to maintain accurate records.
Support open enrollment and employee benefits administration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
1-4 years of HR experience supporting U.S.-based employees.
Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday BambooHR ADP Gusto).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification such as SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP PHR or SPHR.
Experience supporting multi-state employees.
Background in remote workforce management or global teams.
