Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Remote HR Generalist to manage and support human resources functions for a distributed workforce. This role will oversee recruitment employee relations HR compliance and HR operations while ensuring a positive and productive remote work environment. The ideal candidate has experience supporting U.S.-based teams and understands federal and state employment regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for remote positions.

  • Post job openings on job boards and social platforms.

  • Screen candidates coordinate interviews and support hiring managers.

  • Facilitate remote onboarding and orientation for new employees.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for remote employees.

  • Address employee questions concerns and HR-related issues.

  • Promote employee engagement and remote team culture.

HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal state and local labor laws.

  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.

  • Assist in updating HR policies and procedures.

HR Operations

  • Manage HRIS systems and employee data.

  • Generate HR reports and workforce analytics.

  • Support performance management and employee development programs.

Benefits & Payroll Coordination

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.

  • Coordinate with payroll providers to maintain accurate records.

  • Support open enrollment and employee benefits administration.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

  • 1-4 years of HR experience supporting U.S.-based employees.

  • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience working with remote or distributed teams.

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday BambooHR ADP Gusto).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP PHR or SPHR.

  • Experience supporting multi-state employees.

  • Background in remote workforce management or global teams.
