Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Engineering & Construction

Reports To: Operations Manager and CEO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: Php 50000 - Php 55000 plus commission
Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and commercially aggressive Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in Engineering and Construction Project Management.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and closing engineering and construction clients (US UK AU markets preferred) while also having the technical expertise to oversee and manage projects from planning to execution.
The ideal candidate must possess advanced AutoCAD (2D & 3D) expertise strong understanding of construction workflows and proven ability to convert prospects into long-term clients. This role requires someone who is confident in negotiations capable of closing deals and technically competent to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Identify target and aggressively pursue new engineering and construction clients (US / UK / AU preferred)
Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting networking and partnerships
Present company engineering capabilities and technical services to potential clients
Prepare proposals quotations and service agreements
Lead negotiations and close contracts
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Develop long-term client relationships and upsell additional services
Collaborate with SDR and marketing teams to build pipeline
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Project Management & Technical Oversight
Lead engineering and construction projects from initiation to completion
Interpret review and coordinate 2D & 3D AutoCAD drawings
Ensure compliance with US UK or AU construction standards (preferred)
Develop project schedules budgets and resource allocation plans
Monitor project progress risks and deliverables
Conduct coordination meetings with architects engineers and contractors
Manage subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
Prepare technical documentation reports and client presentations
Oversee cost control and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Architecture or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering / Construction Project Management
Proven experience in client acquisition and deal closing (Engineering/Construction services preferred)
Strong knowledge of US / UK / AU construction standards (highly preferred)
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
Experience managing international clients (preferred)
Strong negotiation and sales closing skills
Excellent leadership communication and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and revenue targets simultaneously
PMP Certification (preferred but not required)
Technical Skills

MS Project / Primavera or similar scheduling tools
Budgeting & Cost Control
