Inviting applications for the role of Month end close R2R & GAAP Reporting Senior Manager
The person is responsible for overseeing the preparation of journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and the overall month end close process including timely and accurate P&L reporting. They ensure the quality of financial reports and flux analysis. The person is also responsible for managing data submissions across teams ensuring timely follow ups and providing audit oversight by coordinating requests and reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance. Should be capable of working efficiently and generate more process improvement ideas that result in automation

Responsibilities
Oversee the endtoend preparation and review of journal entries to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with accounting standards.
Provide managerial oversight for balance sheet reconciliations ensuring timely completion quality and resolution of reconciling items.
Lead and monitor monthend close activities including the accurate and timely delivery of P&L reporting across assigned entities.
Direct the preparation review and quality assurance of financial reports including variance and flux analysis.
Manage and govern data submission processes providing leadership in coordinating inputs across teams and driving timely followups.
Provide audit oversight by coordinating requests reviewing documentation prepared by the team and ensuring compliance with audit standards and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications
BCOM / MCOM /MBA Finance

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
RTR experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong technical accounting knowledge including journal entry governance variance/flux analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.
Experience working with GAAP STAT and regulatory reporting requirements.
Handson experience with ERP systems (Oracle SAP or similar) and strong proficiency in Excel.
Strong analytical problemsolving and processimprovement skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies and drive rootcause initiatives.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach teams collaborate crossfunctionally and influence stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities meet strict deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Continuous tracking of key metrics accurate reporting and circulating the same to relevant stakeholders at requisite time intervals.
Work closely with Leadership to manage ad hoc requests and problem solving with a short turnaround time. Supplement such requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making.
IT on automation / digitization initiatives for the processes.
