Who We Are Looking For

Clearway Energy Group LLCs Portfolio Finance team is seeking a summer intern reporting to theSeniorDirector of Portfolio Financeteamis responsible forleading the fundingand term conversionprocesswith tax equity investors cash equity investors and lendersfor Clearways utility-scale wind solar and battery energy storage addition the Portfolio Finance team leads operating-period asset optimization transactions including refinancings acquisitions of investor interests in our partnerships and other asset restructurings.Lastly thePortfolio Financeteam managesseveraloperating projectreporting deliverables such as cash distributions and tracking models.

This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning on June 1 2026.

We are looking for current juniors pursuing abachelorsdegree inFinance BusinessEngineeringMathEconomicsTaxAccountingor related field.

What Youll Be Doing

ThePortfolio FinanceInternsprimary responsibilitiesmayinclude:

FinancialModel Optimization

• RefineMicrosoftExcel-based project financetracking modelswhich are used to track equity investor returns with new functionality that allows for streamlined updating of actualsvaluation of life to date andfuturecash flows and implementation ofscenario analysis tools.
• Modifications to cash distribution waterfall files which allow Clearway to project distributions through the capital stack.

Live Transaction Support

• The Portfolio Finance Intern will bea key member of a live deal team overseeing the upcoming funding process for one of Clearways utility-scale wind solar orbattery energy storageprojects. The Portfolio Finance Intern will be tasked with creating and/or overseeing thetransactionchecklist of documentation deliverablesrequiredfor funding bringdown financial model updates checklist and other processes that help the deal team prepare for funding.

• Coordinate with internal teams including Construction Development Accounting and Legal to advance certain deliverablesrequiredfor funding.
• Support presentations and reports on transaction status risksand benefits to theLeadership Team.

The Portfolio Finance Intern will be assigned to an individual project and will present results to the team and leadership at the end of the internship on August 4th.

What Youll Bring

• AdvancedMicrosoftExcel skillsand understanding of key financial concepts such asdiscounted cash flow analysis time value of money internal rate of return and net present value.

• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail meeting deadlines and working together to achieve company-wideand deal-specificobjectives.

• Project Finance modelingexperience( cash-flowanalysiswith multipleinvestors).

• Experience working in the poweror infrastructureindustry(ordemonstratedstrong interest).

• Background with VBA and an interest in sharpening those skills through working on real-world projects.
