We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Transportation team. This position will travel to various locations around the territory assisting a crew with specialized maintenance activities which may include line painting resurfacing sign installation or sweeping.

Essential Qualifications

• Related work experience preferably in highway maintenance or highway construction
• Related work experience with traffic control would be an asset

Candidates who have education training and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Yukon Class 5 drivers license;
• Transportation Dangerous Goods Certificate (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
