Job Summary
AIM is currently seeking a NonFerrous Receiver Laborer for its MontréalEast site. The position is offered on a schedule from Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Under the supervision of the Supervisor the incumbent will be responsible for receiving and sorting nonferrous materials as well as verifying their compliance. The employee will contribute to the sites daily operations and perform various material handling tasks in addition to carrying out any other related duties.
What youre responsible for :
- Sort various types of nonferrous metals;
- Classify nonferrous materials and identify material types;
- Weigh materials;
- Operate a forklift;
- Perform daily maintenance;
- Carry out general site maintenance;
- Maintain equipment and assets in good condition;
- Clean work area at the end of each shift;
- Enter data into the RECY system;
- Provide pricing to customers;
- Deliver excellent customer service;
- Assist with torch cutting when required;
- Prepare shipments and receive materials;
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications :

- Primarily outdoor work with possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures;
