Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking motivated reliable individuals from the local community to support the installation of a defence technology system in the Northwest Territories. This is hands-on outdoor work on an active construction site.

Previous experience is not required. We are primarily looking for people who are willing to work hard and be part of a team. Any general construction or basic electrical experience is considered an asset but is not mandatory.

This role also offers future opportunities for individuals who demonstrate commitment reliability and a strong work ethic.

Important Information:

- Possible rotation if desired or additional compensation provided if on-site for for entire project duration. Accommodation and meals are provided as well as daily travel to and from work site.

- The wage is $35/hour.

- Project completion bonus allotted to those who complete the duration of the project (May to October).

- This position is intended for non-local hires.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with installation of antennas and cables

- Perform manual labour including material handling site preparation and tool support

- Follow direction from Crew Leads and Supervisors

- Work safely and follow all site safety requirements

- Contribute positively to a team environment

- Willingness to work full-time hours during the project season

- Strong work ethic and reliability

- Ability to perform physical work for extended shifts

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew

- Commitment to showing up consistently and working safely

Assets (Not Required):

- General construction experience

- Basic electrical experience

- Previous site or labor experience
