Job Site Labourer & Cleaner (Residential Construction)

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on active residential construction sites
• Remove construction debris and dispose of materials in designated bins or dumpsters
• Sweep clean and prepare homes at various stages of construction
• Assist with pre-inspection and pre-occupancy cleaning of homes
• Support project managers with basic labour tasks when required
• Move and stage building materials throughout the site
• Load and unload deliveries of construction materials
• Assist with site setup and protection including floor protection tarping and material covering
• Keep walkways entrances and work areas safe and clear of debris
• Ensure tools and materials are stored safely and efficiently
• Follow all site safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Previous construction or labour experience considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean job sites
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
• Ability to follow instructions from the site supervisor
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable performing physical tasks including sweeping lifting bending and carrying materials

• Ability to work outdoors and in partially constructed homes in varying weather conditions

• Compliance with all job site safety regulations

• Proper use of PPE including safety boots hard hat gloves and eye protection
