The purpose of the Portfolio Advisor role is to support Business to achieve high performance and maximise profitability for the Claims Contracts division. Working closely with stakeholders the role provides analytic support to drive the financial performance of the Claims Contracts business. The role will provide quality performance and financial reporting remuneration and opportunity analysis pricing & financial support to enable the Business effectively to deliver against current financial objectives while meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers.
What Youll Do:
- Deliver insights that drive industryleading claims performance and optimise remuneration outcomes.
- Provide strategic analysis that supports portfolio expansion and strengthens overall profitability.
- Support the preparation and delivery of routine performance reporting.
- Develop and improve performance reporting to meet requirements under the contract with icare
- Analyse claims trends and outcomes to identify opportunities for improving overall portfolio performance.
- Work closely with Claims Team to identify poor performing segments that warrant a deeper investigation of drivers of performance where needed.
What Youll Bring:
- At least 3 years experience in using either SAS SQL or R Excel and any data analytic tools.
- Strong data analytic or data science and programming skills desired
- Relevant general insurance or Personal Injury Claims business experience is preferable
- Experience in dealing with complex data structure and data analytics data scientists skills preferred
- Ability to convey and explain information coherently and confidently both verbally and in writing.
