Responsibilities:
- Drive US Wafer Manufacturing lines to meet wafer demands ensuring optimal production efficiency and output.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain finance manufacturing engineering and development teams to align production goals with overall business objectives.
- Manage and optimize wafer commitments taking proactive measures to meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the organization.
- Oversee line loading shipment and expediting of wafers and inventories to fulfill commitments and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve manufacturing processes reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Analyze production data and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust manufacturing schedules accordingly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and equipment necessary for wafer production.
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing planners and logistics specialists fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all wafers meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new technologies and processes into the manufacturing line enhancing overall efficiency and product quality.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while ensuring sufficient stock to meet production demands.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain or manufacturing process.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on production performance KPIs and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations environmental standards and company policies in the manufacturing process.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field required; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in semiconductor or hard disk drive wafer manufacturing with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven expertise in wafer capacity planning line loading and logistics management
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including experience managing and mentoring teams
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to semiconductor manufacturing
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 20%)
