Job Summary

Project Manager with Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Location with state: Summit NJ

Duration: 6 - 9 months

Hire type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and experience with MES software solutions. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams managing timelines and ensuring successful delivery of the MES project while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans including scope objectives timelines milestones and resource allocation for MES implementation.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders including IT operations engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration among members to achieve project goals.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the project and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.

Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the MES by all users.

Training & Support: Coordinate training for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure successful operation of the MES.

Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and operational efficiency post-implementation.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status challenges and achievements.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes operations and best practices.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.

Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Asana Jira Smartsheet PPT etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
