We are supporting an international financial services organization in identifying an experienced Trade Support Analyst to join their growing operations function. This opportunity sits within a highperforming fastpaced environment that plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and seamless flow of trades across multiple asset classes.
As a Trade Support Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring that all trades flow correctly and consistently from frontend systems into the operational platform. You will act as a key point of contact between business teams downstream operational functions and external clients while maintaining strong control standards resolving issues and supporting ongoing process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing trade flow and reconciliation across Equities and Fixed Income ensuring alignment between frontend systems and operational platforms.
- Daily FOBO (Front Office vs. Back Office) reconciliation including resolution of breaks and escalation of recurring issues.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations across global entities.
- Monitoring FX exposures by working closely with sales and trading teams to ensure correct FX bookings.
- Ensuring timely and accurate trade confirmations; investigating CTM mismatches unaffirmed trades and exceptions.
- Monitoring and resolving trade exceptions across platforms ensuring queues are cleared within required timeframes.
- Ensuring end-of-day position monitoring escalation of unbooked or incorrect trades and intraday oversight of risk books.
- Investigating and escalating DKs promptly.
- Managing the Trade Support inbox efficiently ensuring all queries are resolved within agreed turnaround times.
- Handling instrument and client static data setup in frontend systems.
- Supporting prematching and settlement processes (e.g. CREST).
- Investigating cancel/amend trade issues and supporting change initiatives system upgrades and new flow testing.
- Responding to internal and external client queries in a timely professional manner.
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
- Experience in trade support middle office or a similar operational role within financial markets.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle reconciliations and operational controls.
- Experience handling crossasset products (Equities and/or Fixed Income).
- Solid analytical and problemsolving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and operate effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with traders sales operations and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required.
Technical Skills (advantageous):
- Exposure to systems such as Bloomberg TOMS Fidessa Omgeo CTM CREST GUI or similar trading/operational tools.
- Strong Excel skills and numerical aptitude.
