We are currently looking for a Acquiring Underwriting Analyst ready to join our adventure share our ambition and help shape the future of digital banking.What you will be doing
- Evaluate and analyze merchant applications and business models to ensure compliance with card scheme regulations and legal standards
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective merchants to assess their risk levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and information for underwriting
- Assess and recommend appropriate credit limits and transaction thresholds for merchants
- Monitor merchant accounts for unusual or high-risk activities and take appropriate action
- Stay current on card scheme rules industry regulations and best practices in underwriting
- Assist in the development and improvement of underwriting policies and procedures
Skills you should have
- Bachelors degree in finance business or a related field
- Proven experience as an Underwriting Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of card scheme regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly review merchant documentation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
