About the opportunity
The Head International Student Recruitment leads a dynamic team to drive the University of Tasmanias growth and stability in international student enrolments. Reporting to the Director International Student Recruitment this role is responsible for planning and executing offshore recruitment strategies ensuring resources are targeted to priority markets and coordinating institutional support for in-market opportunities.
What youll do:
- Able to set operationalise and activate strategy into specific actions timelines and responsibilities to enable the University to deliver on key strategic goals.
- Adopts a growth mindset and consistently seeks feedback makes others comfortable with taking risks and experimenting to improve over time.
- Continuously finds ways to improve and simplify processes systems and practices to deliver improved outcomes for our students staff and community by utilising practices such as Lean Agile and Design Thinking.
- Able to form sound judgements based on all available information considering the potential impacts of decisions from a broad range of perspectives before taking definitive action.
What were looking for:
- Extensive experience in international student recruitment within higher education including a proven track record of developing and executing successful offshore recruitment strategies and achieving enrolment targets in diverse markets.
- Deep understanding of global education systems international market trends and regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with experience in leading mentoring and developing high-performing culturally diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities including building and maintaining partnerships with agents institutions and internal university stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical strategic planning and reporting skills including the ability to interpret data evaluate recruitment performance and inform decision-making using CRM and digital marketing tools.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 10 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $163282 comprising base salary within the range of $137494 to $139557 plus 17% superannuation.
