Job Summary
Our client a globally renowned international law firm is currently seeking a Legal Manager to join their Corporate Team in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support across a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters
- Prepare review and interpret legal documents under the guidance of attorneys
- Conduct legal research and due diligence investigations
- Assist in verifying corporate documents and preparing verification notes and prospectuses
- Draft legal correspondence and documentation
- Maintain organized legal files and manage relevant databases
- Support ad-hoc legal assignments as required
Candidate Profile:
- Law degree with 3-4 years of relevant experience ideally within capital markets and Hong Kong IPO transactions or PRC/US qualified lawyers
- Solid understanding of Hong Kong IPO processes and legal frameworks
- Proficient in English Cantonese and Mandarin with strong Chinese reading and writing skills
- Familiarity with applicable legal rules and regulations
- Skilled in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and legal document management tools
- Experience with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
