Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant with 710 years ofhandsonexpertisein Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge excellentproblemsolvingskills and the ability to driveendtoendPPDS implementations and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

Leadrequirementgatheringsessions and translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP PPDS.

Configure and customize PPDS functionalities including heuristics planning strategies pegging capacity planning and detailed scheduling.

Manage and validatePPDSrelatedmaster data such as PDS resources work centers and planning areas.

Optimizeproduction planning and scheduling processes to improve throughput reduce lead times and enhance resourceutilization.

Collaborate withcrossfunctionalteams (PP MM QM APO IBP SCM) to ensure seamless integration.

Driveendtoendimplementation activities including blueprinting configuration testing UATgolive andhypercare.

Troubleshoot complex PPDS issues and providetimelyresolutions.

Prepare documentationSOPs and conduct user training sessions.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members when.

Required Skills & Experience:

710 years of experience in SAP PPDS or APO PPDS.

BE/with good industrial experience.

Strong understanding of production planning MRP capacity planning and scheduling concepts.

Handson experience with PPDS heuristics optimizer and detailed scheduling boards.

Solid knowledge of CIF integration between ECC/S/4HANA and PPDS.

Experience in at least onefullcycleSAP implementation (S/4HANA embedded PPDS preferred).

Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and propose effective solutions.

Strong communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.

Good to Have:

Experience with S/4HANA embedded PPDS.

Exposure to IBP APO SNP or other advanced planning tools.

Experience in manufacturing sectors such as FMCG Pharma Automotive or Engineering.
