Description
This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide quality care to our patients in a supportive environment while contributing to the health and wellness of the community.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including patient evaluations prenatal care and gynecological surgeries. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained contributing to our mission of providing exceptional medical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations and assessments
- Manage prenatal labor and postnatal care
- Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in womens health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Schedule: 24-hour in-house call 2-4 shifts per month

Annual Births: 2475
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
