Secure Journeys has been selected to operate Australias Onshore Immigration Detention Network on behalf of the Australian Government.

Spotless as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys will be responsible for facilities maintenance and asset management of detention facilities and for providing catering and garrison services to detainees.

With the new contract underway we currently have a full-time role available for a Trades Supervisorto join the Spotless team.

The purpose of this function is to oversee thecoordinating and supervising maintenance delivery onsite ensuring all works are completed safely efficiently and in alignment with contractual obligations.

What youll do

The role has a broad remit with key responsibilities outlined below:

Coordinate and supervise day-to-day maintenance activities across the facility.
Manage work orders in the Work Management System (WMS) ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
Supervise and coordinate Service Delivery Partners (SDPs) and onsite contractors
Obtain review and validate quotes in line with procurement rules and contractual pricing.
Maintain accurate records evidence and documentation for audit and contractual compliance.
Perform minor maintenance and handyman tasks including basic repairs fixture replacements painting and routine upkeep.

What youll bring

A Trade qualification OR significant FM/maintenance supervisory experience.
Demonstrated experience coordinating trades or maintenance services.
Strong understanding of safe work practices and compliance processes.
Ability to operate maintenance management systems (WMS/CMMS)
Valid Drivers Licenc & ability to obtain site clearance/security pass.
