We are looking for Supervisors Drill & Blast to provide strong frontline leadership to our dynamic Drill & Blast teams enabling safe efficient and highquality execution of drilling and blasting activities across our operations.

Opportunities are available for FIFO candidates based in Perth or regional hubs including Busselton Albany Geraldton and Broome working across a combination of day and night shift rosters.
Reporting to the Superintendent Drill & Blast and working within a collaborative mine operations team you will:
Act as a visible safety leader rolemodelling positive behaviours and promoting compliance with safety standards
Coach develop and performancemanage Drill & Blast operators including training development and discipline
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities using Rio Tinto best practices
Supervise and coordinate drilling and blasting activities in line with fortnightly mine plans
Conduct regular workplace inspections and onthejob interactions to support safe and efficient work execution
Ensure all activities comply with relevant statutory requirements business standards and policies
What youll bring
A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Confidence and passion for leading coaching and developing people
Strong communication collaboration and organisational skills
Technical experience within surface Drill & Blast operations or similar
Completion of the Statutory Supervisor Legal Exam
A current and valid C Class manual drivers licence
