Job Summary
Are you a payroll professional with hands-on experience in Spanish payroll administration At SIXT we are looking for a Payroll Administration Specialist (m/f/d) to manage day-to-day payroll operations for our Spanish and Italian this role you will be responsible for processing employee lifecycle events ensuring compliance with regulations and collaborating with HR and Finance teams. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You manage payroll administration tasks for the Spanish and Italian markets including medical leaves hirings terminations settlement calculations and job changes
- You have knowledge of Spanish Social Security / SEPE regulations and systems to effectively collaborate with our external payroll provider
- You provide daily support to employees and managers answering questions and resolving queries related to payroll administration
- You ensure data accuracy and legal compliance across payroll systems providers and internal processes.
- You collaborate closely with HR Finance and external payroll providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
- You support process improvements and identify opportunities for efficiency in payroll operations
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience You have 1 years of proven experience in Spanish payroll administration. Prior experience with Italian payroll is advantageous but not required as full training will be provided
- Education You hold a degree in Finance Accounting Human Resources or a related field
- Technical Knowledge & Systems You have solid knowledge of Spanish Social Security and SEPE regulations and platforms (Sistema Red Contrat@ Certifc@ Delt@) along with experience working with payroll systems and HRIS tools (e.g. ADP Workday)
- Payroll Know-how You understand termination processes (finiquitos) vacation settlements sick leave management and employee lifecycle administration
- Language You are fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken
- Interpersonal Skills You communicate clearly enjoy problem-solving and are comfortable supporting employees and managers daily
