Job Summary

Sitting in Business Services our Finance team deliver financial results for businesses drive improved financial performance into the future and provide key support to our industry teams. Our diverse and multidisciplinary team bring together skills in financial reporting budget processes and stakeholder management to review recommend and drive process changes for our clients.

Your Role Includes:

  • Conducting period-end billing for IHQ & ASPAC ensuring compliance with existing agreements and contributing to budget and forecast discussions.
  • Monitoring financial accounting inboxes to keep a pulse on the financial health and communication.
  • Executing bank reconciliations and preparing thorough monthly reconciliations for designated accounts to ensure accuracy and control.
  • Participating in external reporting and crafting allocated financial statements to maintain statutory harmony.

Key Accountabilities:

  • ASPAC/IHQ Accounting and Billing (35%): Drive the monthly financial narrative for IHQ & ASPAC.
  • Period End Journals & Reconciliations (35%): Proactively manage journal entries and ledger reconciliations ensuring prompt resolution of discrepancies.
  • Reporting (20%): Assist in crafting superior audit workpapers and statutory accounts that reflect our commitment to detail and accuracy.
  • Ad Hoc Projects (10%): Spearhead initiatives cover for peers and be an agent of positive transformation in the finance department.
  • Engage directly with the esteemed Head of Financial Accounting the Head of Statutory Reporting and the Director of Statutory Reporting fostering enduring and mutually beneficial relationships.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in finance fundamentals and general accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to nurture lasting stakeholder relationships.
  • Effective communication adaptability to change and a laser focus on outcomes.
  • Robust analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Advanced skills in Excel highly desirable

Qualifications :

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • You are on the path of achieving professional qualifications (CA/ CPA).
  • Your journey includes 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting.
