Your role:
Anglicare Victorias Financial Counselling program aims to:
- Deliverhigh quality Financial Counselling through the provision of information advice practical assistance and advocacy intended to stabilise and improve the clients financial situation.
- Support clients to navigate financial crisis build financial wellbeing capability and resilience.
- Support the recovery of Victorians impacted by disaster events.
- Facilitate referrals to other services and broader community support services to address client needs.
- To maintain contact with other service providers and agencies in order to promote integration of the service in the community and also to enable the development of best practice in the field.
How do we assess your application:
- Diploma of Financial Counselling Qualification required.
- Membership of Financial Counselling Victoria Inc. (FCVic).
- An understanding of the impact of environmental factors affecting financial independence on individuals families and communities.
- Experience in working with clients who have experienced family violence would be highly desirable.
- Well-developed verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
- Demonstrated resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma.
What you should know:
- You get a salary starting at $100776 plus super.
- Salary packaging is available up to $15900 plus an entertainment card.
- SCHCADS Award level 5.
- Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience.
- Full time permanent.
