As Senior Manager Digital Planning & Architecture you will lead a highperforming team responsible for enterprise and solution architecture business analysis and digital project management. Youll shape the strategic planning of digital initiatives manage digital demand endtoend and ensure our solutions align with organisational priorities approved architectures and policy frameworks. You will also provide expert timely advice to senior leaders and work closely with the Executive General Manager Digital & Data to evolve WAPHAs Digital Strategy.
Employment Type: Fulltime Maximum term contract for 2 years (With a possibility of extension)
Location: WAPHA Head Office Level 2 1 Hood Street Subiaco (Hybrid role)
Salary: Band 7 ($180k Plus 12% Superannuation & Salary Packaging
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Own our architecture practice: Establish and apply processes tools and methods to design and govern enterprise and solution architectures that support WAPHAs strategic objectives
- Manage digital demand:Build transparent pipelines prioritise initiatives with governance forums and integrate demand with delivery and support processes across the portfolio
- Engage and influence: Partner with senior leaders to identify digital implications and opportunities; drive stakeholder consultation across planning development and delivery.
- Guide strategy & investment: Advise on technology options participate in vendor/product selection and help maintain a current aligned Digital Strategy.
- Lead the team: Set goals support capability development and contribute as an active member of WAPHAs Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure compliance: Develop and monitor adherence to policies standards and frameworks for architecture business analysis and digital project management.
- Identify opportunities: Continuously assess WAPHAs digital landscape to recommend improvements that enhance integration efficiency and reduce risk.
- Champion collaboration: Foster strong relationships across portfolios and external partners to align digital initiatives with organisational goals.
- Drive innovation: Explore emerging technologies and propose solutions that deliver measurable value and support strategic objectives.
About you
To be considered for this role candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential experience and education
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science MIS Information Management or a related field
- Industry certification in at least one of the following: project management enterprise architecture or business analysis (e.g. PRINCE2 Agile TOGAF BABoK)
- Demonstrated experience in the delivering or managing at least one of enterprise architecture business analysis and/or project management services.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of enterprise architecture business analysis and project management standards methods and tools.
- Excellent problem solving analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated management experience in a technology data or related environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack including M365 D365 and Azure.
Preferred knowledge and skills
- Broad knowledge of modern IT systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
- Experience developing and implementing organisation-wide strategies or strategic plans.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Solid understanding of both technical and organisational change processes and management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in strategically ambiguous or flexible environments.
