Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of IGCSE and IB DP English to join our international team. The successful candidate will be passionate about language and literature able to inspire students and committed to delivering high-quality teaching that supports strong academic outcomes.
As a Teacher you will be expected to:
- Teach confidently across IGCSE and IB DP English programmes and support learning across different year groups
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in language and literature with the ability to deliver engaging and structured lessons
- Use a range of teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learning styles and abilities
- Show creativity flexibility and a commitment to continuous professional development
- Work collaboratively within the department and contribute to shared planning and resource development
- Stay informed about global educational developments and best practice in English education
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with Bachelors Degree or above in relevant subject disciplines plus PGDE/PGCE/. qualification
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- Applicants should be registered teachers with the Hong Kong Education Bureau.
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with teachers and other relevant professionals parents and students;
- An understanding of current developments in teaching;
- Experience of a range of assessment strategies for identifying students needs and supporting learning;
- A commitment to pastoral care within the school;
- A commitment to developing students skills through extra-curricular opportunities.
