Job Summary
Research Assistant Professor in theDepartment of Pharmacology and Pharmacy(Ref.: 534630)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and conduct research on the epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology of age-related diseases including osteoporosis sarcopenia frailty and other endocrine and metabolism related diseases.
- Lead research projects investigating the genomics proteomics and metabolomics of osteoporosis and related diseases.
- Publish original research articles in high-impact journals.
- Secure external competitive grants.
- Engage in collaborative projects both internally and externally.
- Supervise and co-supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree preferably in epidemiology pharmacology bioinformatics data science or related fields.
- At least 23 years of postdoctoral research experience is preferred.
- Strong background in big data analytics machine learning and multi-omics.
- Strong track record of high-quality research demonstrated by publications and successful grant applications.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- A high sense of responsibility and research integrity with the ability to work independently collaboratively and under pressure.
What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered with the possibility of renewal up to 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
