Job Summary
Job Description for Bus Drivers
Responsibilities:
- Operate buses safely and punctually on assigned routes adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide courteous and customer-oriented assistance to passengers including route information and travel advice.
- Maintain a clean well-groomed appearance and uphold professional conduct at all times.
- Navigate routes efficiently demonstrating familiarity with Leverkusens road network and transit patterns.
- Report vehicle issues incidents or delays promptly to the relevant team.
- Support operational flexibility by being available to work nights weekends and varying shifts as required.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum 10th grade (SSC) or higher.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of verified professional bus/coach driving (Category D).
- Age: Below 40 years at the time of application.
- Language: Commitment to achieve German B1 within 10 months (maximum 12).
- A2 external certification
- B1 internal
- Certification accepted: Goethe Telc ÖSD
- Drivers Licence: Valid Category D (bus) licence from India.
Required Skills:
Education: 10th grade Higher Secondary (102) or above. Experience: Minimum 3 years of verified heavy-vehicle (Category C CE) driving experience. Age: Below 40 years at the time of application. Language: Commitment to reach German B1 within 1012 months. A2 external certification B1 internal Accepted certificates: Goethe Telc ÖSD Drivers Licence: Valid heavy-vehicle licence from the home country. Health: Medically fit for commercial driving; must pass eyesight and health exams.
