Job Summary

Role Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the global Active Directory with over 100000 user accounts and Entra ID.
Ensure high availability security and reliability of the Entra ID infrastructure.
Drive the implementation of the IT strategy in the Digital Identity domain.
Innovate and improve operational processes evaluate and implement new features and functions and drive automation.

Role Information:

Contract Start Date: 01.08.2025
Contract End Date: 31.12.2027
Nationality: South African citizens/residents preferred. Applicants with valid work permits will also be considered.
Product / Feature Team: Microsoft Entra ID Authentication Platforms

Requirements

Essential Skills:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Enterprise IT architectures with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
Expert experience in implementing and administering Microsoft Entra ID Entra ID Connect and Active Directory with strong knowledge of authentication protocols (Kerberos SAML OAUTH/OIDC).
Advanced knowledge of Entra ID and Zero Trust architecture concepts.
Advanced experience in the development and implementation of Entra ID security concepts.
Advanced understanding of network protocols: IPv4 IPv6 DNS.
Advanced experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell Azure Functions.
Ability to handle additional responsibilities assigned within an Agile Working Model (AWM) framework.

Advantageous Skills:

Advanced experience in hybrid cloud environments and Microsoft Azure.
Experience in Agile working environments.
Strong teamwork and internal/external communication skills.
Analytical thinking to coordinate analyze and resolve technical issues.
Self-organization problem-solving and delivery-focused mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Computer Science Communications Engineering or related discipline or comparable qualification.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT including experience managing large Cloud/Hybrid environments (international experience advantageous).
