Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a critical care setting
- Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families about health management
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Current NP or PA certification and state licensure
- Previous experience in critical care or similar medical settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
Schedule: Weekends 6p-7a
No call shifts
40-bed unit
High volume and high acuity
Must be proficient in all procedures
Will place IVs
Support Staff: Additional APP
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
