Job Summary

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

We are excited to announce a locum opportunity for a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician in Pontiac MI. This vibrant community offers a supportive outpatient clinic environment featuring a well-equipped facility with an infusion center and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Join our practice as we work together to provide exceptional outpatient care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Manage an average of 1520 outpatient clinic patients per day.
Participate in clinic call and support patient care as needed.
Engage in tumor board discussions to collaborate on patient treatment plans.
Work alongside a team that includes Oncology RNs Medical Assistants a Social Worker a Dietitian and a Nurse Navigator.
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology. REQUIRED
Current BLS/ACLS certification. REQUIRED
Active Michigan medical license. REQUIRED
Local candidates preferred; no flight reimbursement.
Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Copy of the NPDB self-query required at presentation (must be pulled within 30 days). REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
Current BLS/ACLS certification.
Valid and active Michigan medical license.
