Job Summary
As a Delivery Manager at NCS you will be at the forefront of large-scale digital transformation specifically driving the success of the AcuBuy integrated procurement platform. This role is pivotal in digitising and streamlining procurement processes for our clients. You will partner with leading organisations to own the end-to-end cross-functional delivery of complex client programs directing a multidisciplinary squad spanning Business Digital IT and Technology to ensure the AcuBuy ecosystem is realised on time on budget and with a focus on exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities will involve orchestrating multi-stream programs. You will manage the full delivery lifecycle from scope and schedule to Capex/Opex financial controls and benefits realisation. Beyond technical execution you will be a champion for delivery excellence coaching team members and uplifting ways of working across Agile Hybrid and Waterfall methodologies to ensure the seamless adoption and evolution of the AcuBuy platform in complex fast-changing environments.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will manage matrixed teams including Architects Product Owners and Engineers while maintaining strong partnerships with external vendors and offshore teams. By leveraging modern delivery tooling like Jira and PPM Pro you will provide executive-ready narratives and transparent reporting to sponsors ensuring that AcuBuy achieves its strategic goal of transforming the procurement landscape.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will bring a blend of leadership experience and deep technical delivery expertise ideally with a background in procurement or integrated platform delivery. You should possess:
Relevant Platform Experience: Proven experience in supporting or delivering integrated procurement systems or similar large-scale digitisation platforms (experience with SAP or equivalent procurement ecosystems is highly regarded).
Extensive Experience: Leading capital programs within IT Telecommunications Financial Services or Retail sectors.
Proven Delivery Record: A track record of successfully managing large-scale initiatives involving complex system integrations and multiple business units.
Leadership & Coaching: Experience directing matrixed teams of professionals and a passion for mentoring and capability uplift.
Technical Knowledge: Deep experience in software development and delivery for digital mobile integration and hosted applications.
Financial & Strategic Acumen: Strong proficiency in managing Capex/Opex tracking benefits and responding effectively to unexpected project shifts.
Exceptional Communication: The ability to craft clear high-impact narratives and presentations for both business and technology stakeholders.
Qualifications: A tertiary degree in Business IT or Engineering complemented by professional certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 or MSP.
