The Opportunity
The Research Development Coordinator is responsible for advancing the Facultys research portfolio by providing strategic support to enhance research funding outcomes and foster collaborations. This role plays a central part in strengthening research initiatives managing internal funding programs and supporting the Facultys strategic objectives including the development of innovative research partnerships and the growth of research income across diverse disciplines.
In this role you will provide strategic and administrative support to enhance the Facultys research activities including detailed support for developing research proposals advising researchers on funding opportunities and managing internal grant programs. You will prepare high-quality documentation maintain research information systems and support committees and strategic initiatives while fostering collaborative relationships across the Faculty and contributing to the effective coordination of research events seminars and workshops.
As the successful candidate you will possess extensive experience in research administration and management including grant development project coordination and specialist advisory support. You will demonstrate high-level analytical problem-solving and planning skills coupled with the ability to produce clear comprehensive reports and documentation. You will excel in building professional relationships across diverse teams work independently with initiative and apply a thorough understanding of university research environments and strategic priorities.
