This role is an onsite position at our showroom located in Kyabra Street Newstead and is offering permanent part time working 30.4 hours per week.

Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to proactively support the Regional Manager Account Managers & Segment Development Managers by prospecting identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This includes supporting both the Queensland team. The role will lead the effective use of CRM ensuring Salesforce is up to date with accurate information rich contact information and all activity and customer interactions recorded. The Customer Development Specialist will proactively seek out new leads and sales opportunities through various lead generation sources such as Hubexo and in conjunction with the sales team develop a winning strategy to secure the business. The role will support the sales team in creating and maintaining excellent client relationships. Ensure the showroom is an effective tool for use by the sales team.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Proactive input of Leads and Opportunities into Salesforce and allocation of follow up activities to Sales team.
  • Data governance for the Account Managers (AMs) Segment Development Managers and KAM sales team
  • New Account and Contact Creation in Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop reporting to assist the Regional Manager and Account Managers to increase efficiency
  • Innovate new processes to assist the AMs SDMs & KAM sales teams to become more efficient & effective
  • Using our existing lead generation tools create account mapping tools
  • Diligent use of all Interface Advance tools on CRM in collaboration with Sales team.
  • Follow up with Clients to ensure receipt of samples and solicit feedback / organise follow up activities in conjunction with sales team record all interactions in CRM
  • Actively support Regional Manager with weekly sales meetings and Funnel Review process
  • Day-to-day activities of a office managing couriers answering phones client enquiries office supplies etc.
  • Point of contact and face of the company for internal/external visitors
  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications And Experience Required

  • Proven track record of working within a customer facing/ customer service or data entry role.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • CMS experience preferred (salesforce)
  • An understanding of business processes.
  • A current drivers license.
