This role ideally will be suitable for someone looking for full-time work. However if youre the right candidate we can chat about part-time or casual positions. You will join a team of highly motivated individuals with access to state of the art equipment education support and professional development opportunities. The position is a Monday to Friday role however at times weekend work is available. The Anaesthetics and Recovery will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering nursing care to patients and work as part of the perioperative team. Participation in the on call roster may be required pending your skills and experience.
Nurse with AHPRA registration.
Experience working Anaesthetics or PACU min 2 years
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice.
Excellent computer literacy and experience with electronic patient record system would be an advantage.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care and continued professional development.
Demonstrated understanding of the roles and functions of a Perioperative/PACU Nurse
