Tallangatta Health Service is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse to join our Education Team and play a key role in supporting and growing our workforce.

Depending on your qualifications and experience you will join us as either a:

• Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) or
• Clinical Support Nurse (CSN)

In this rewarding role you will coordinate and deliver education that strengthens the knowledge confidence and skills of our Health Care Workers Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses. You will also support students and contribute to maintaining and advancing best-practice care across the organisation.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity with 23 days per week available. We understand that flexibility matters we are genuinely open to negotiating your preferred EFT and working arrangements to help you balance work with your other commitments.

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed small rural public health service providing a mix of acute sub-acute aged care residential and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a consumer-focused progressive provider of care to our community patients and residents with a multidisciplinary focus.

About You

You are committed to person-centred care and passionate about building clinical capability in others. You bring enthusiasm contemporary clinical knowledge and a collaborative approach to education.

You will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Postgraduate qualification in Health or Education (CNE applicants)
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or willingness to undertake
• Experience in clinical education including student supervision
• Minimum five years nursing experience with strong contemporary clinical skills
• Advanced Life Support and/or First Line Emergency Care (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
