Job Status: Full Time

Salary Range: $77500 $85000 super per year

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting NDIS participants along with their families and/or carers to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.

• Evaluating developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.

• Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices in the home and community.

• Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants goals passions and strengths as well as ensuring they get more out of life.

• Building the knowledge capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family carers friends etc.

• Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice.

• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications :

About you

• Full Australian work rights

• Registration as a NDIS Registered Behaviour Practitioner at core/ proficient/ advanced or specialist level

• Degree in Psychology; Counselling or Social Work or related area

• Min of 12 months relevant experience

• Current drivers licence

• Police check and Working with Children check (or ability to obtain these before commencing work).

• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills - strong report writing skills essential

• Valid Drivers license and access to reliable motor vehicle

• The ability to work independently
