Job Summary
Job Description
BJC/Saint Lukes Health Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This full-time day-shift position focuses on delivering high-quality professional nursing care within an outpatient cardiovascular setting.
- Licensure:Active LPN license in both Missouri and Kansas (or multistage/compact equivalent).
- Certification:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills:Strong professional demeanor excellent customer service and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Patient Care:Perform clinical screenings for walk-in patients and manage telephone screenings using established protocols.
- Clinical Procedures:Assist with biopsies wound care dressing changes suctioning catheter insertion tracheostomy care and diabetic nail care.
- Patient Education:Provide essential instruction on medications and injection techniques.
- Team Leadership:Delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) based on competency and scope of practice; provide coverage for Medical Assistant duties as required.
- Compliance:Maintain clinic standards and practices to ensure superior patient outcomes.
