Responsibilities
- Provide individual group and family therapy sessions to clients.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients mental health needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Monitor clients progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client care.
- Stay updated on advancements in mental health counseling practices and techniques.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when needed.
- Develop and conduct workshops or group sessions on mental health topics.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Counseling Social Work or Psychology.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic approaches and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and foster a trusting relationship.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
