Job Summary
Abound Health is seeking a Trainer to join our team in a remote capacity with occasional travel to office and community locations. In this role you will report to the Supervisor. The Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training and education to staff supporting individuals receiving Innovations Waiver and State-Funded Services ensuring compliance competency and alignment with Abound Healths mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess training needs in partnership with managers
Deliver AIM Levels 13 CPR/First Aid and Medical Administration training
Design implement and adapt training programs and materials
Support onboarding and mentor new employees
Plan schedule and coordinate training sessions and logistics
Track attendance certifications and required documentation
Ensure participant safety dignity confidentiality and compliance
Qualifications:
Experience delivering training or education preferably in IDD or healthcare settings
Strong understanding of adult learning principles
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office LMS platforms and related systems
Willingness to travel to office locations at least twice per month
Education:
High School Diploma required
IDD DSP experience strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Base pay is determined by factors such as work location experience job-related skills and relevant education or addition to base pay total compensation may include various other forms of pay.
