Position Overview
Our client a well-established insurance carrier is seeking an experienced Auto Claims Adjuster with Physical Damage expertise to join their claims organization. This role is responsible for investigating evaluating and resolving auto physical damage claims while delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and state regulations.
Salary/Benefits
- $60000 - $85000/year (based on experience)
- 20 days of PTO (10 Vacation 5 Personal 5 Sick Can carry over a total of 5 Sick Days)

Requirements
- 2 years of auto claims adjusting experience with a focus on physical damage
- Strong knowledge of auto policies coverages and state regulations
- Experience reviewing and negotiating repair estimates
- Familiarity with estimating platforms such as CCC Mitchell or Audatex
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume desk while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Job Description
- Handle auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution
- Investigate losses determine coverage liability and damages
- Review estimates photos and appraisals; negotiate settlements with repair facilities and claimants
- Coordinate inspections with field appraisers or utilize virtual estimating tools
- Evaluate total loss claims and salvage processes when applicable
- Communicate effectively with insureds claimants vendors and internal partners
- Ensure timely accurate claim documentation and diary management
- Comply with all regulatory carrier and best-practice guidelines
