Tier 1 Help Desk Speiclaist
FedTec is seeking a Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist to provide comprehensive base-wide client computer support . As the frontline representative of our Help Desk team the Tier 1 Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for technical support addressing foundational IT inquiries and ensuring a seamless and positive technology experience for our client.
Position: Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist
Location: Tinker AFB Oklahoma (Onsite)
Security Clearance: Verifiable DoD Secret (or Higher) is required
Certifications: DoD 8570 Compliant (IAT Level II )
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone e-mail or in person.
- Diagnose research and resolve tier 1 technical hardware and software issues.
- Effectively advise and assist customers on appropriate action.
- Provide accurate information on IT products and services.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate effective training content.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- A working knowledge of and experience with EUD Hardware Remedy Help Desk Software System and subsequent versions Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) network infrastructure Windows Operating Systems MS Office Suite and the Air Force SDC.
- Must be customer-focused and service-oriented attentive to details with the ability to multi-task and act with professionalism at all times
- Minimum of Active Secret clearance required.
- CompTIA SecurityCE certification required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills phone etiquette data entry
- Sound knowledge of hardware/software operating systems and networking related technologies is required
