Job Summary
Applications are invited for appointment as Associate Professor of Practice in theDepartment of Electrical and Electronic Engineering(EEE)(Ref.: 534154) to commence as soon as possible on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field demonstrating a strong commitment to research. A proven track record of scholarly publications and research accomplishments is essential with a preference for expertise in wireless communications and networking photoelectric control robotics and AI. The appointee will play a key role in establishing industry partnerships leading research projects with direct practical applications and securing industry sponsorship.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates salaries tax does not exceed 15% of the gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
