Job Summary
A prestigious US law firm is seeking a Hong Kong-qualified mid-level Associate to join its corporate team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work on high-profile transactions advising clients on Hong Kong IPOs regulatory matters and corporate governance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on Hong Kong IPOs including drafting prospectuses listing documents and other regulatory filings.
- Conduct due diligence and manage transaction processes for issuers and underwriters.
- Liaise with regulators such as the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
- Provide legal advice on compliance with Listing Rules Companies Ordinance and other applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams on multi-jurisdictional transactions.
- Support senior lawyers in client management and business development initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possess 4-6 years of PQE
- Must be admitted to practice law in Hong Kong with experience at an international law firm or a top-tier local firm
- Specializes in Hong Kong IPO transactions and related regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of HKEX Listing Rules SFC regulations and corporate finance transactions.
- Excellent drafting analytical and communication skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
