JOB SUMMARY
Onnitis hiring ahands-on strategic Director of ITto lead our technology roadmap and modernize the systems that power how weoperateand scale. Reporting directly to the CEO this role is a critical partner across Sales & Marketing Operations and Financeresponsible for building secure scalable and efficient infrastructure that enables teams and protects the business.
This role blendsstrategic architecture with hands-on execution owning enterprise platforms (including Shopify and NetSuite) cybersecurity infrastructure and the responsible adoption of AI tools. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology & ITStrategy:
- Own and execute strategy aligning it with business priorities across ecommerceretailoperationsfinance and customer experience.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs)along with feedbacktoinform continuous improvement.
- Lead steering committee to review identifiedopportunities toleveragetechnology for efficiency better customer experience and competitive differentiation.
SystemIntegrations& Architecture:
- Lead system integrationswith a focus on Shopify NetSuite 3PL systems and customer service platforms.
- Ownership ofdata flow connectionsand accuracy across platforms.
Cybersecurity andCompliance:
- Ensuredata integrity risk management and adherence tobusinessstandards.
- Continuously improve business continuity planning including but not limited to cyber security datasecurityand disaster recovery.
ITOperations:
- Deliver highly responsive onsite and remote helpdesk technology support.
- Partner with business leaderstoidentifytechnological needs and ensure IT initiatives support key business drivers.
VendorManagement:
- Oversee thetechnology operating budget and technology contract negotiations.
- Lead evaluation negotiationandmanagingof vendors.
Team Management:
- Build and lead a small but mighty teamto supportthebusinessandenablereliable and consistentexecution.
- Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in the tech team.
- Manage the intakeprocessofrequests spanning software implementation to ad-hoc needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience preferably within high-growthCPG ecommerce or omnichannel consumer brands
- Deep hands-onexpertisewith Shopify NetSuite ERP platforms and 3PL/retail integrations
- Strong foundationin cybersecurity IT governance and compliance including controls risk management and audit readiness in regulated or public-company environments
- Proven ability to build scale and modernize technology infrastructurein fast-paced high-growth organizations
- Experience leading cross-functional IT teams partnering closely with Finance Operations Marketing and Legal
- Strategic yet hands-on operatorwho can set vision while executing in lean high-performance environments
- Expertisein agile and scrum methodologies witha track recordof driving execution and delivery
- Working knowledge of modern AI tools and platforms and how to responsibly apply them across finance customer support marketing and operations
- Clear influential communicatorwith the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives
- Strong bias for ownership action and outcomes with a relentless focus on systems that scale and deliver impact
