JOB TITLE: One (1) Summer Intern
CONTROL CODE: OTH Intern-26-01
SUMMARY:
The Mayors Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is the City governments chief financial agency. OMBs staff of analysts and experts assembles and oversees the Mayors expense and capital budgets which fund the services and activities of approximately 90 City agencies and entities.
The Application Development Unit is responsible for OMBs software design implementation deployment and maintenance. Provides IT operational support where applicable.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Becoming familiar with Microsoft Power Platform or the Appian SAIL platform. Develop a prototype portal site on the selected platform with the remaining time. Be involved in the teams other projects if time permits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Working knowledge of fundamental programming concepts like conditionals and OOD
-Working knowledge of a C like language
-Familiarity with Power Platform or Appian
REQUIREMENTS:

Undergraduate interns must be currently enrolled or accepted into an accredited college or university. Strong analytical research and communications skills are required. Candidates must have familiarity in MS Word and Excel
To participate in the OMB Summer Internship Program undergraduate students must be enrolled or accepted into a college or university.
Compensation/Duration:
Summer Undergraduate Intern$17.50 per hour
Internships will run for 10 weeks from June 1 2026 to August 7 2026. The work must be done during the regular workday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications :
As of June of the Program year the prospective intern must be a student matriculated in a college or be a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year).
NOTE: Appointment to this title is only valid for the duration of the Program June - August each year.
